REPLICORE

Who would have thought that a human ladder could feel so futuristic? In REPLICORE, up to four players compete together. They fight their way through ruins in the sand, operate machines, search for paths, and battle enemy groups. They have a special trick up their sleeves: at the push of a button, they can all transform into a small ball. The core can slip through small openings, be picked up and thrown by team members, and then transform back with a powerful shockwave. This constantly creates new opportunities to transport each other to different locations or quickly take out enemy groups.

REPLICORE takes an idea from the Metroid series and does something completely new with it. Even the prototype already hints at versatile gameplay possibilities in a small space. It’s already a lot of fun. The prototype from this small team impresses us with its unusually polished presentation and smooth handling. Team-based first-person shooters have to clear a high hurdle, appearing both technically mature and independent. This desert temple wins us over right away.
