Lose CTRL

Innovative concepts and novel approaches require not only a high degree of creativity, but also enormous courage. Lose CTRL is a welcome change of pace, eschewing conventional concepts and thus expanding the realm of possibility.

The title takes a critical look at the absurdity of the modern working world – in an entertaining and humorous way. In our opinion, this is a good way to approach difficult topics. It uses the controls to imitate the protagonist’s loss of control and illustrates the monotonous repetition of common paradigms in the working world. We liked the idea of an interactive representation of a toxic working atmosphere, right through to the playful resolution of the question of meaning.

We see it as a challenge to design a title that deals with unpleasant processes, allows us to experience these processes firsthand, and still makes it an entertaining experience. This has definitely been achieved here. The music composed for the game is also particularly positive. The character design style comes across as “wacky,” but it fits the eccentricity of the narrative. The rest of the 3D graphics show that the developers have an understanding of aesthetics and game art.
