This game for smartphones and PC lets players blow through the forest like the wind. The puzzles and challenges are designed to be both cute and entertaining. We learn about the animal world and the animals’ needs in their natural habitats and help them get through the fall season. With simple point-and-click controls, the gameplay remains easy to manage. The development studio places special emphasis on additional interactive features available on tablets and smartphones, such as blowing into the microphone or swiping the touchscreen to move game elements. Short stories are integrated into the game, bringing the world to life. This sparks curiosity for more and encourages a desire to explore nature. Parents and children can play together and discuss and learn about the animal world and the forest through the game. Leaves does all this without coming across as preachy.
