In the hotel management simulation WeWaii, players take on the role of a hotel manager whose top priority is to make their guests’ holiday dreams come true. This involves not only the strategic development and expansion of the hotel complex, but also attracting new guests, for example through targeted advertising campaigns. Guest satisfaction is key, as it earns the hotel manager experience points and thus ensures the hotel’s good reputation.
The challenge lies in the fact that players start with a dilapidated complex that must be developed into a 5-star resort. WeWaii is an attractively designed, challenging management game that is easy to get into and has the potential to keep players engaged over the long term. The focus of this game is on building up the resort; there is no competitive element. Although micro-payments are available, they do not affect gameplay.
