Lernerfolg Vorschule – Capt'n Sharky

At last, a game that has really been designed for children and which they can play in different places thanks to the handheld console. Capt’n Sharky is aimed at children aged 4 and over is an educational programme for pre-schoolers. Among other things, children learn to recognise letters, recognise numbers and count, and distinguish and match colours and shapes. It also includes some initial exercises in English. Particularly impressive, alongside the three difficulty levels, was the incredible wealth of activities and possibilities. Children aged 4 and over, in particular, are guided step by step by the narrator and the intuitive controls. The platform’s full range of features ensures plenty of variety, whilst ensuring that the children are not overwhelmed by the tasks. The jury was particularly impressed by the fact that the game is also available in Turkish, thereby helping to promote integration.
