Unrailed!

Unrailed! features a selection of procedurally generated worlds through which players must build a track for a steam train that keeps moving forward—an interesting twist on the fan favorite Overcooked. While the game’s visual style is blocky and minimalist, it creates an appealing and aesthetically compelling atmosphere. The landscapes feature a variety of surprising elements, both static and moving—such as NPCs, some of which players can interact with.

Unrailed! emphasizes teamwork and process management. It’s all about role allocation, strategy, planning, and time management. For a successful run, all players must reliably fulfill their tasks. All roles contribute equally to success. It’s very satisfying to be able to complete every task and possibly even earn bonuses for the team. It’s also fun to optimize the route or the train’s composition. Unrailed! emphasizes good teamwork and active communication. Even the in-game communication—though limited to emotes—allows for effective role assignment.

At first glance, Unrailed! seems a bit slow-paced, but thanks to the constantly changing environment and steadily increasing difficulty, it soon transforms into a hectic, intense, and sometimes chaotic—but definitely very fun—track-building experience.
