Avorion

We can dive very deeply into Avorion’s space sandbox. We’re faced with a seemingly endless map that we can explore. It’s possible to follow a story, talk and interact with NPCs and other players, mine resources, and fight. For those who love attention to detail, the construction menu lets you build your own spaceship from blocks in a Minecraft-style. Since Avorion offers so much to discover, and because it takes some time to try out and understand all its features, the jury has named Avorion the Best Expert Game of 2020.
