Echoes of Etrya

In Echoes of Etrya, players accompany the young Shio as she ventures into the legendary, ancient temple city of her ancestors in search of the “Gears of Time.” Since the beginning, the complex has channeled the energy of time and sought to keep it in balance,
but now it is on the verge of collapse.

The 3D puzzle adventure impressed the jury above all with its immersive atmosphere and its exciting core mechanics, which have already been technically very well implemented. Players can manipulate time to create a duplicate of themselves that helps them explore the ancient temple world. The mechanics not only allow for various puzzle variations but also enable even the slower-paced player to solve a puzzle—one that supposedly requires speed—without any rush.

The prototype demonstrates that the team can not only implement this technically but also design varied puzzles with plenty of ingenuity and creative ideas.
