Yager Development

Not many German studios attract the attention of the international press, but Yager even made it into the arts section of The New York Times with Spec Ops: The Line. The Berlin-based company is considered a popular employer—not just in the capital—offering numerous benefits to its more than 90 employees from over 20 nationalities. As an internationally positioned studio, Yager is one of the few companies in the country capable of handling a AAA production. The jury was impressed not only by the studio’s track record to date but also by the fact that Yager embodies the motto “quality over quantity” every day. With its latest—but certainly not last—game, The Cycle, Yager demonstrates its ability to develop games at an international level.
