Abenteuer Hanse

Abenteuer Hanse is an augmented reality game that guides players through the permanent exhibition at the European Hanse Museum in Lübeck. Players embark on a journey through time, exploring the history of the Hanseatic League, solving puzzles and searching for young Alex, who has also travelled through time. Abenteuer Hanse offers a playful exploration of Hanseatic history and demonstrates how digital, game-based learning can work within a museum context. The shared experience and the puzzle-solving, combined with the stylish and aesthetically pleasing presentation, make for a family experience that appeals to all generations. The digital game elements are not isolated, separate modules, but are integrated into the entire physical exhibition, skilfully linking the exhibits with the digital experience to allow visitors to explore them in a hands-on way.
