Fatih gob b Dayik is a Counter-Strike player who has had a significant influence on the German esports scene since 2003. The German player with Turkish roots is regarded as one of the world’s best strategists and in-game leaders in both Counter-Strike 1.6 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and has served as a mentor to many of the German scene’s top players. In CS 1.6, he won numerous S- and A-tier tournaments with his most successful team, mousesports. In CS:GO, his greatest achievement was winning the silver medal at ESL One Cologne 2018 with Berlin International Gaming (Big for short). In 2019, gob b announced his retirement as an active player and, after a brief hiatus, solidified his role as a role model in esports by taking on the position of head coach.
