How to God
How to God consistently adapts the classic god-game principle from classics such as Black & White into a “VR-first” architecture. The game primarily uses hand-tracking instead of traditional controller inputs, enabling immediate, natural interaction with the game world. Grasping, combining, placing and interacting take place without abstract menus – complex systems can be experienced through intuitive gestures.
The tactile alchemy and combination system is particularly innovative. Elements and figures are physically brought together to create new roles or objects. This haptically comprehensible gameplay loop combines discovery, experimentation and strategic thinking in a form specifically developed for VR.
The grasp-based world navigation – moving and scaling the world with one’s own hands – also reduces motion sickness and replaces traditional movement mechanics with physically anchored interaction.
Visual effects accompanying newly discovered combinations specifically reinforce the urge to explore and support system learning both aesthetically and in terms of gameplay mechanics.
The innovation lies not in the use of VR alone, but in the coherent combination of hand tracking, physical system control and intuitive interaction architecture.
