Crysis 3

Crysis 3 is the latest instalment in the Crysis first-person shooter series, in which the superhero Prophet, clad in his high-tech nanosuit, battles aliens and soldiers of the C.E.L.L. Corporation.

Great emphasis was placed on freedom of play when designing the levels. The route through the areas – some of which are vast – is not strictly predetermined; players can move around relatively freely and explore their surroundings. It is often even possible to navigate the action across different vertical planes. Players are also largely free to choose their own combat tactics.

Crytek has achieved a technical masterpiece with Crysis 3. State-of-the-art graphical effects in textures and the use of light and shadow, almost lifelike facial expressions and animations of the characters, and, last but not least, the refinement of the physics effects, combined with an almost entirely reactive environment, create an impressive level of realism and a dense atmosphere.
