Portal Knights

Portal Knights tells the story of an ancient yet fractured world. After “THE BREAK” has ravaged the land, the fragments of the world must be reconnected. To do so, players use portals—which must first be rebuilt and then traversed—to gradually restore the world’s unity. Players are taken on an adventurous journey through a procedurally generated 3D world that is often colorful and lively, but at times also dark and menacing. As a warrior, mage, or ranger—alone or in 4-player couch and online co-op—they face the challenges ahead and defeat the Portal Keepers.

Portal Knights isn’t easy to pigeonhole into a single genre. Its successful blend of RPG, action-adventure, building, and sandbox elements offers just about everything that’s currently popular with teens. In the jury’s view, Portal Knights pulls off this genre-blending balancing act with flying colors and at a remarkably high technical level.
