Kyklos Code

Kyklos Code is essentially an extremely streamlined design with a minimalist neon aesthetic, yet it is nonetheless impressive: The effortless combination of what are essentially simple game elements and interactive objects to form intuitive puzzles and dexterity challenges is already impressive, but the game’s true strength lies in its steadily increasing – yet never frustrating – level of difficulty, which meaningfully integrates failure and repetition into the gameplay.

Failed attempts are part and parcel of Kyklos Code, but it is only through repetition that players uncover the solutions to the challenges and manage to beat the relentless time limit. In this way, failure is swiftly transformed into the very foundation of progress, effectively used to boost motivation, and rounded off almost perfectly by the driving, monotonous synth soundtrack.
