It Takes Two

Communication is clearly at the heart of this charming storyline. This is skilfully reflected in the gameplay too. For it is only when both players work together that they can overcome the game’s diverse challenges. Each level of the game offers a new experience – in terms of both gameplay and level design – and impresses with its incredible wealth of ideas. The two elements mesh harmoniously.

Players journey from one fairy-tale world to the next, from a medieval knight’s castle to a wintry wonderland. The tools and abilities available to the two characters in each of these worlds naturally complement one another at all times. The various hidden mini-games, such as tug-of-war or shuffleboard, in which players can compete against each other, provide fun, short breaks from the main storyline. It Takes Two is played on a split screen, in both offline and online modes, so that players can always keep an eye on each other. After all, it’s only by working together that they can solve the puzzles and fight their way through the enemies to reach their goal.
