Light of Atlantis
Light of Atlantis is an atmospheric puzzle platformer with a particularly strong visual identity. The game captivates us from the very first scene. An intrepid little robot awakens in an ancient underwater ruin of enormous proportions and puzzles and fights its way through cleverly designed levels. New tools and game mechanics appear continuously, but are always introduced logically. The challenges quickly increase. Light of Atlantis is a Metroidvania inspired by titles such as Ori and the Blind Forest and Hollow Knight, but it is not a copy. Not only does it look different, it also has new ideas. Water is not just an obstacle to movement here: it changes levels and enemies, enabling new puzzles by allowing us to flood or drain passages in order to progress. This prototype seems exceptionally well thought out and remarkably designed. Light of Atlantis captivated us and didn’t let go.
